Who We Are?
The National Youth Alliance for Reproductive Health and Family Planning is an association created in 2015 in Senegal.
“Through its interventions, the ANJ works to:
- Contribute to improving the well-being and quality of life of the population in general, and young people in particular;
- Improve access for young people and women to information, products, and quality health services tailored to their needs.
The National Youth Alliance for Reproductive Health (ANJSR) is an organization dedicated to promoting reproductive health and sexual rights for young people. Its main activities include:
- Education and Awareness: Campaigns to inform young people about reproductive health, STI prevention, contraception, and menstrual health.
- Advocacy: Influencing public policies to improve access to health services and sexual education.
- Access to Services: Collaborating with healthcare providers to offer reproductive health services tailored to young people.
- Training and Capacity Building: Programs to improve the skills of young people, health professionals, and educators.
- Research and Data Collection: Studies to understand the needs and challenges of young people regarding reproductive health.”
The main objective of the ANJSR is to promote better reproductive health, reduce unintended pregnancies, prevent STIs, and ensure access to appropriate health information and services for young people.

Notre mission
The mission of ANJSD is to strongly influence the direction of health and development policies in favor of adolescents and young people in order to bring about immediate and lasting changes in their lives.
We are committed to ensuring the accessibility, continuity, and quality of reproductive health services for young people and women in all sectors: public, private, and community. We firmly believe that health results from a constant interaction between the individual and their environment, and it is this interaction that we aim to improve through our initiatives.

We strive to become changemakers in the field of reproductive health, prioritizing the Sexual and Reproductive Rights and Health of women and young people. Our approach is based on a deep understanding of the determinants of health, meaning the individual, social, economic, and environmental factors that influence health.
